Swimmer Jonathan Carlisle believes his victory in the 200m backstroke in Sheffield may prove to be significant when he bids to earn a spot in the England squad for Glasgow 2014.
Carlisle pipped rival Liam Knight by 0.60seconds at Ponds Forge and insists the victory is definitely a confidence boost for when the pair square off again.
