Please note this test took place in December 2015, before the Sony G Master 70-200 was announced. Once that lens is available we will test it as well.
In this video Jason tested the Sony FE f/4 lens against the Sony A mount f/2.8 and the Canon L lens f/2.8. He tested all 3 at the same aperture of f/4.
He then furthered the comparison by testing the Sony A mount vs. the Canon L lens at f/2.8. Jason shares video footage recorded with all three lenses.
For the test Jason used the Sony LAEA3 adapter with the Sony A mount lens and the Canon Metabones Mark 4 Adapter for the Canon L lens....all in Auto Focus mode.
