I finally got a Seaboard! I just bought the Seaboard Block a few days ago and am super happy with it. The 5D touch really works great and is a lot of fun to play around with.

I've heard about ROLI's Seaboard since I first started playing piano 6 years ago. I was immediately intrigued by the extra level of expression possible by this instrument. BUT, the price point was super high, $8,000+ dollars for the 88 key version, I think $3,000 for the 61 key, and over $1,000 for the 49 key.

The seaboard block is a much more affordable choice at only $300. It's got mini sized keys and a range of 25 keys.

I was initially worried about the smaller keys and limited range, but I'm finding it less restrictive than I originally thought. There's two octave switching buttons on the sides to make extending the range very convenient. And, you can do quite a lot with just two octaves.
