I recently purchased a new HOTAS (Thrustmaster T16000M joystick paired with the TWCS Throttle) so that I could play some simulation games. However, my gaming PC is also my home office PC so I needed to get the ergonomics right without making complicated changes to my desk or chair.
What to do?
The lap desk was the solution! Check out this video to see how I set it up.
Update 2021-01-19: After experiencing some sliding during some gaming sessions I ended up securing the HOTAS to the lap desk using some Velcro at the bottom.
