Here is the easy way to make Kudumulu with 3 ingredients - rice flour, salt and water in Instant pot and Idli cooker. Tastes delicious with tomato chutney, kids can try with peanut chutney as well. Enjoy serving hot as breakfast or evening snack. Store in air tight container or hot pot for later use.
Preparation: (around 25 kudumulu)
1½ cup rice flour
1¼ cup water
¼ tsp salt (or little more)
Process:
Boil water, salt, turn off flame and add rice flour, mix well, cover with lid, let it sit for 15 min.
Knead the dough a little, make balls and flatten in the middle, arrange in idli plates.
Instant pot: (set pressure valve to sealing, no keep warm)
Pressure cook mode for 5 min, high pressure
Or Steam mode for 10-12 min
Let it rest for 10 min or until pressure valve sits down
Idli cooker:
Cook for 10 min on high flame or until whistle, rest it for 10 min
