Prior to World War 2, Germany almost declared war with Czechoslovakia over the Sudetenland. The Germans wanted to start the war but the crisis was averted at the Munich Agreement in 1938. Throughout this, the military was planning the Oster Conspiracy, a coup to remove the Fuhrer and reinstate the Kaiser in Germany. Today we find out what would've happened if the Fuhrer was overthrown before WW2, and Germany had a Civil War.
