The Pros and Cons of Living in Hawaii
Hawaii is a great place to live, but it's not all paradise. For many families, life in Hawaii is a struggle. Here are five pros and cons of living in Hawaii.

Pros:
Friendly - People in Hawaii say hello just because. Hawaii is also a hugs and kisses kind of culture.
Culture - Hawaii has a rich culture. There is the Native Hawaiian culture and the local Hawaii culture.
Weather - Great weather most of the year. Some rain, but mostly sunny throughout the year.
Food - Unique food that's hard to find in other places.
Family - Family, or ohana, is the most important thing in Hawaii.

Cons:
Expensive - Highest cost of living in the United States. Good luck finding affordable housing.
Isolated - Hawaii is one of the most isolated places on Earth, making it hard to get away.
Traffic - Lots of cars on the road with limited route options.
Tourism - Hawaii's economy relies on tourism, which means we need visitors to come here and spend money.
Culture Change - Hawaii is changing, for better or for worse.
