This accelerated video shows the milling of a worm shaft at Gebuwin. The worm shaft is used in the Gebuwin hand winch. Gebuwin makes hand winches and electric winches. There are generally three reasons for using hand winches. They are used as back-up systems, when the frequency of use is low or a load can be moved in a remote location where there is no electricity. Within the worm gear hand winches, we also have two industry specific winches, the marine and stainless steel winches and the theatre winch. Our electric winches are designed for both light and very heavy loads. The electric worm-gear winches of Gebuwin have a capacity of up to 3200 kg.
