One hundred thousand refugees are fleeing the Banja Luka region in western Bosnia in the face of the combined Bosnian government and Croat offensives.
The refugees are moving despite diplomatic activity to try to resolve the war in the former Yugoslavia.
Banja Luka in western Bosnia - and one hundred thousand refugees are on the move in the face of combined Croat and Bosnian government offensives.
The people of this region are taking whatever possessions they can carry and leaving.
Roads leading to the city are choked with hundreds of people, cars, trucks and horse-drawn carts.
The Bosnian government and Croat authorities claim to have taken four thousand square kilometres over the past few weeks.
And, as with each new refugee exodus - the authorities are struggling to find temporary shelter and food for refugees.
These refugees are departing - as they do so perhaps unaware of the efforts that are taking place to devise a political solution to the hardship that they have had to endure.
