Sea foam lashes onto Cape Town's waterfront and roads as a cold front moves in over the South Africa city, Monday, July 13.
The chilly conditions brought out curious residents to see the snow-like foam that spread to waterfronts and roads.
The foam from the icy Atlantic Ocean marked the Sea Point promenade and main road, popular with runners during summer but virtually deserted during the country's wintry season.
Successive cold fronts accompanied by heavy rains and flooding have hit Africa’s southernmost city, Cape Town, and the latest winter storm landed late on Sunday in the city known globally among mariners as the “Cape of Storms."
