💚🌎 Sainte Anne Marine National Park is the oldest marine reserve in the Seychelles and the first of its kind in the Indian Ocean. The park is set amid dazzling turquoise waters and is a perfect snorkeling spot. It’s just 5 km off the coast of Mahe and it covers around 15 km2, mostly coral reefs and 6 granitic islands. Fishing has been strictly prohibited for half a century in this area. The park's best snorkeling spots are in the Ste Anne Channel between Ste Anne and Moyenne Island. If you are looking to explore Ste Anne Marine Park on a day trip, there are plenty of tour operators who provide daily excursions, including glass bottom boats. You can choose between classic tours in large boats or smaller ones for those who want a private, tailor-made journey. Island hopping, swimming, snorkeling or diving, exploring some islands on foot or relaxing on one of the many secluded beaches – so many activities to choose from.
