We have partnered with Dunsany Nature Reserve and Rewilding project to plant trees. We work with both environmentally conscious individuals, and companies all over Ireland, US, UK, and Australia who pledge to plant trees or subscribe to our patronage tree planting program.
Randal Plunkett ( Lord Dunsany) is the founder of Dunsany Nature Reserve in county Meath. Dunsany Estate is Ireland’s largest privately owned nature reserve and at present Ireland’s only recognized large-scale rewilding project.
The reserve is home to red deer, foxes, otters, badgers, pine martins, hares and stouts.
750 acres are dedicated to the reintroduction and preservation of native species to the area in county Meath.

Irish Trees are on a mission to plant trees to expand and rewild ancient woodlands.
These Irish trees are funded by businesses, individuals, and organizations.
As the planet needs more trees, Irish Trees needed a collaborator that was committed to the environment and a collaborator that could protect the land and its trees.
Dunsany Nature Reserve needed more trees to accelerate the rewilding effort and wanted a partner business that shared the same values as well as being both passionate and professional.
Fortuitously, Irish Trees and Dunsany Nature Reserve came together to build a this legacy project!
As the largest private rewilding project in Ireland, Dunsany Nature Reserve is located about 35 minutes northwest of Dublin, in County Meath.
The Dunsany Estate, dates back to the 11th century, and is a place of natural beauty and home to an abundance of biodiversity across the flora, fauna and fungi.
This 850 year old estate covers 2,200 acres, of which 1/3 or about 750 acres are dedicated to the this Rewilding project.
Within the estate there are 550 acres of ancient woodlands, which were separated overtime to create agricultural land.
There are also several ponds, springs, and streams flowing through the estate as well as wetlands and grasslands.
The purpose of this exclusive tree-planting collaboration is to create habitat extensions, so that the current biodiversity has more room to expand and multiply as we work to expand and reconnect ancient woodlands …across the vast reserve.
