Hey!
So I was debating not posting this. But the thing is, even though I do agree that her recent actions would go against her intentions of “changing the idol industry”, i at least wanted to post this to clarify what her intentions even were in the first place.
I believe it is possible to hold someone accountable for their actions while not shaming them for getting plastic surgery, body shaming them, or purposely misconstruing their words. It is very easy to Google what Yunjin said in clarification of her original comment, and all she said is that she wants to speak with less filters.
With that being said, I would like to treat Yunjin as a real. Human. Being. I hope that she can act like Jake from Enhyphen, who started supporting small coffee businesses on livestream after being told about Starbucks. And I don’t think her plastic surgery should mean that she’s automatically more vain, or less respectable. Because in my opinion, that’s hypocritical coming from the same audience that focuses so heavily on “visuals.”
Thanks for watching.
