we are supposed to be on the port office a day before to get the tickets. If you know when you'll return from the islands, you can get both of your tickets .The ferry also takes cars for free, but you will have to be sure to be granted space. The journey between Jizan and Farasan takes approximately 1.5 hour.
About 40 k.m (or a one-hour boat ride) from Jazan, you'll find the Farasan Islands. More than 80 islands make up the archipelago, but only three of them are home to year-round residents. The largest and most inhabited is Farasan Island.
