Regular bent over rows are still a solid back exercise to include in back workouts and I'm not saying you need to stop doing them or that they don't have their own unique benefits.
But if we're talking pure lat/upper back hypertrophy while minimizing unnecessary leg and low back fatigue, chest supported rowing variations are going to be ideal to build a bigger back overall.
