Right from the first step after switching off the canister filter to the last step of pumping the canister filter i have included all the steps to perform during canister filter cleaning.
The most important is to clean canister filter media with the fish tank water to save the good bacteria which is beneficial to the aquarium fish.
Some steps may differ according to different models of other canister filter.
Canister Filter can be used for freshwater fish aquarium as well as marine fish aquarium or saltwater fish aquarium.
