As liveaboard cruisers, we’re forced to learn how to do new things all the time, whether we want to or not. Luckily for Kirk, he thrives on figuring things out for himself. Then our chosen lifestyle must mean he’s found fulfillment and happiness for life, right!?
Au contraire. It’s easy to get lost in a sea of daily frustrations, losing sight of the bigger goals. Learning new things and figuring out how to solve problems can be incredibly frustrating in the short-term. But these frustrations are only temporary.
All it takes is a moment to step back and remember that working toward a goal isn’t just about achieving that goal. The experience itself holds much to be treasured.
