Credited with popularizing Champagne in the United States and was known as "Champagne Charlie". Tonight we enjoy the Charles Heidsieck Brut.
This champagne embodies near perfection. It's three founding essential cruise hail from OGER AMBONNAY and VERNEUIL. A 40% pinot noir 40%, Chardonnay and 20% money with a little bit of wine vinified in burgundy barrels, this champagne is one of my personal favorites and a staple in my cellar. Enjoy it with everything from a light cheese plate all the way up to a good old-fashioned steak. It's deep rich old gold color, it's fruity and borderline intense flavor combined with an incredible mouthfeel with a smooth clean finish, this champagne is sure to please both the beginner and the well-seasoned connoisseur.
