After December 2024, the Home Office will no longer be issuing BRP cards to foreign nationals living in the UK, and Immigration records will be stored and accessed digitally.
There is already a portal on the .Gov.uk website, which you may already be able to access to view and prove your current immigration status, as well as your right to work and your right to rent:
