@shanmughasundar ji is a leading bharatanatyam artiste and educator, based in Chennai, India. He has been disciplined in the classical dance art of bharatanatyam and nattuvangam by the legendary dance guru, the late K.J. Sarasa. He is also an ‘A’ grade artiste of the Doordarshan, and has been conferred several awards and titles such as “Natya Selvam” by Dr. Kalingar and “Natya Tara” by Kamal Haasan, to name a few.
@umasathyanarayanan ji, is a Bharatanatyam dancer trained under Padma Shri. Guru Chitra Visweswaran and is also known for her skills as a trained Carnatic vocalist. She has beena recipient of many accolades including the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Award. In addition to dance, she is also trained in other cognate art forms such as nattuvangam, dance music, theory and stagecraft at the Chidambaram Academy of Performing Arts.
