Scholar transport remains a massive challenge in the Eastern Cape, where demand outstrips supply. The province is only able to service the needs of 85 110 pupils who require transport.
Unreliable service providers exacerbate the shortages.
A number of pupils from the Oyster Bay have been without transport for the past two months,
and it is now exam time.
