The next time you use green onions for your lunch or dinner, save the bottom parts with the roots and at least 2 inches of the white and green stem. Plant each green onion 1-2 inches apart in organic soil. It'll keep regrowing so you'll always have a supply of green onions in your home!

Tip: If you want to keep it inside, you can also place the roots in a jar of water just covering the roots and it'll keep regrowing in water!
