How to make a frozen strawberry Margarita. This frozen strawberry Margarita recipe couldn't be easier! We are going to make it with frozen strawberries, simple syrup, freshly squeezed lime juice, tequila and triple sec. We will simply put everything into the blender and blend until smooth.

Although fruity and sweet, this cocktail is strong so please enjoy it responsibly!

How to Make a Strawberry Margarita

Makes two

1 lime — halved and them sliced
Salt for rimming the glass
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 cup silver tequila
1 oz. simple syrup*
1 oz. triple sec
2 strawberries for garnish - optional

Place salt inside a shallow dish.

Run the inside of the halved lime along the rim of a glass. Dunk the glass into the salt and give it a little twirl. Be careful not to go too heavy on the salt.

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into the salt rimmed glasses.

Cut a slit at the end of each strawberry and place it on the edge of the glass. Do the same with a slice of lime.

Serve and enjoy responsibly!

*make simple syrup by dissolving equal parts of sugar in water at low heat. Once it is dissolved, cool down completely and store in the fridge.
