When hosting bluebirds in a bluebird house, you would be amazed at the types of predators that threaten them.
The tough thing about a predators and bluebird houses is that once a predator enters or reaches in, the bluebird's only chance of escape is now blocked.

A good baffle is going to be one of the most universal ways to protect your bluebirds. And it is very important that you protect them from predators.
Another type of predator guard is a Noel guard.

Droll Yankee's Ultimate Pole System is very easy to use and extremely stable. It does come with other add-ons that aren't necessary. But The overall kit itself is excellent. The downside is cost.

Universal Mounting Pole with Auger and mounting bracket is a decent option. You will want to drive this down at least 10 inches. It is less expensive than the Droll Yankee pole.
