Grace VanderWaal performed her original song, 'Highway', live at Purgatory in Brooklyn NY, on June 7th, 2023.

This is one of several unreleased songs from Grace that I hope she'll be able to put on an album someday, before too long. The varying emotions surrounding the nature of the theme of the song - (running away) - are portrayed very well in this haunting rendition by Grace, and I admit I actually got chills at the little build-up near the end, the first time I heard it. Definitely one of my favorite unreleased songs of hers.
