Former teacher and lecturer, Slabbert "Steve" Mzuvukile Mbiza has been described as an activist and unifier and role model. The seventh annual memorial lecture in his honour was held in Cape Town. The event was marked with a panel discussion under the theme - Journey to the Restoration of African Indigenous Spirituality, Cultures, Laws, Economy and Education.
