OM VAJRA KILI KILAYA SARVA BIGHANEN BAM HUNG PHAT

This Tibetan Buddhist mantra is most powerful for removing obstacles, destroying forces hostile to compassion, purifying both the mind and the spiritual pollution of this age, transforming negativity and sickness, bringing about wellbeing and enlightenment. When the great Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) first arrived in Tibet, the first transmission he gave to his 25 “heart disciples” were the practices of the Varjakilaya Tantra.

Vajrakilaya is the yidam deity (ishtadevata in sanscrit) embodying the illuminated activity of all the Buddhas. Wrathful yet compassionate, He is the deity of the magic thunder nail, the kila, a device of the sharp adamantine point of dharmakaya, a wisdom forged through the power of one-pointed concentration. This ‘one-pointed’ focus is a concerted mindfulness on the unity and interdependence of all dharmas (destinies). This one-pointed focus is understood as ‘applying oneself fully’.

Varakilaya is the wrathful manifestation of Vajrasattva, arising to purify the source of all suffering, which is ignorance. In His hands He holds a Phurba (Kila), an ancient Vedic instrument going back to shamanistic practices.

ITALIANO – Questo mantra del Buddismo tibetano è estremamente potente per rimuovere gli ostacoli, distruggere le forze ostili alla compassione, purificare sia la mente che l'inquinamento energetico di questa epoca, trasformare la negatività e la malattia, e infine apportare benessere e illuminazione. Quando Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) giunse in Tibet, la prima trasmissione che diede ai suoi 25 “discepoli del cuore” furono le pratiche del Varjakilaya Tantra.

Vajrakilaya è la divinità yidam (ishtadevata in sanscrito) che incarna l'attività illuminata di tutti i Buddha. Irato e al contempo compassionevole, è la divinità del magico pugnale del tuono, il Phurba, strumento della punta di diamante del dharmakaya, una saggezza forgiata attraverso il potere della concentrazione irremovibile. Questa focalizzazione ‘su un unico punto’ è la realizzazione dell'unità e dell'interdipendenza di tutti i dharma (destini), ed è il frutto dell'impegno complete.

Varakilaya è la manifestazione irata di Vajrasattva, e sorge per purificare la fonte di tutte le sofferenze, che è l'ignoranza. Nelle Sue mani tiene un Phurba (Kila), antico strumento vedico che risale a pratiche sciamaniche himalayane ancora più antiche.
