The Manhattan District Attorney's office is considering delaying Donald Trump's sentencing date in his hush money conviction, following a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity. Trump, the first former US president to be convicted of a felony, filed a letter seeking to challenge his conviction after the Supreme Court ruled that presidents have absolute immunity from prosecution for core official acts. CNN's Will Scharf, an attorney representing Trump in the immunity case, stated that the Supreme Court's ruling "absolutely" impacts the hush money case, as evidence of Trump's "official acts" cannot be used to try essentially private acts.
