There are tens of millions of eligible voters who, for a variety of reasons, don’t participate in elections. Given what a Trump second term would look like, and Trump’s attempts to suppress turnout, everyone who is eligible needs to make a plan to vote now. Here are a few key steps you should all take to make sure your voice is heard this November:
1. Check your voter registration status by visiting this page. There, you can find your state or local election office for more detailed instructions on how to confirm your status: www.usa.gov/election-office
2. Confirm the deadline to register to vote in your state by visiting this page: [ Ссылка ]
3. Verify your state’s guidelines for requesting and submit a mail-in ballot using this resource put together by Axios: [ Ссылка ]
4. Use the same site to confirm if your state allows you to drop off your mail-in ballot at a local elections office before November 3rd.
5. Make a plan to vote, and vote early if you can — given Trump's attacks on the USPS, allow more time than you think to ensure your ballot gets counted.
6. Tell everyone you know to do the same.
This is our chance to stop our slide towards fascism. We can't pass it up.
