Zimbabwe Currency Crisis 2008 Explained in Hindi | Hyperinflation in Zimbabwe | Robert Mugabe
Zimbabwe faced the worst economic crisis in 2008, due to hyperinflation. But this hyperinflation is created by the Zimbabwe government by themself. Because their president Robert Mugabe took some unrealistic decisions which ultimately led the country to a currency crisis and hyperinflation. These decisions include land reform, and investment in 2nd congo w*r, followed by a sanction by USA, IMF, and EU in 1999.
And the main culprit was the monetary policies of zimbabwe's reserve bank, they started printing more and more not, and they printed notes of billion and trillions of zimbabwe dollars, to make everyone rich, which hit them hard. They broke the quantity theory of money.
Here we also discussed why govt cannot print more notes or currency.
By all these things, the economy of Zimbabwe got down and inflation arose.
