On October 4, 2022, John F. Clauser was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, along with Alain Aspect and Anton Zeilinger, for his work on entangled particles. Clauser began this work here at Columbia University in 1969. Over the course of the last 50 years, researchers at Columbia have continued his work. In this video, physicist Sebastian Will and computer scientist Henry Yuen give a brief overview of Clauser’s work and explain the significance of the discoveries.
