It's easier than you think to remove a broken or stuck spark plug boot. In a matter of minutes you can get that broken or stuck boot out with simple tools you likely already own. Using some lubricant and a straight mechanics pick will make the job much easier. The only other tools you may need are possibly a pair of needle nose pliers or a hooked piece of wire you can make to pull out the boot after loosening it with the pick and lubricant. You can run the wire down the side of the spark plug insulator tip and pull out the broken boot. Rather than costing you lots of money and time, or having it towed to a repair shop, this simple trick is a veritable lifesaver.
