The term "settler violence" has been in the news a lot recently, with some countries even placing sanctions on some individual Israelis in the West Bank who have been involved in violent incidents. But what counts as "settler violence is itself is a hotly debated topic, and one that has far-reaching ramifications, both in terms of how to understand it and how to address it.
