The Kruger National Park has some mighty impressive Male Lions, and have had many before. But as things stand currently, Stompie is becoming a favorite amongst many people around the world. With his lean physique, muscle mass and power, he stands out, apart from the obvious, the short/half tail.
We have recently seen the three Lower Sabie Male Lions, with Mohawk drawing attention with his stunning Mapogo Mr.T resemblance, but Stompie is such a looker all round. No doubt a fierce leader, and physical fighter, he has a soft side as well. Seen last month with his two new cubs along the Hippo Pools concession, he handles them with great care.
Yes, the Gomondwane Male Lions are my favorite's, but Stompie is one lion I go out to find these days. Sightings of him has been very scares lately, so I'm hoping to find him very soon, and find him in good health. Lastly, I am hoping that he is re-united with his Male Lions Coalition. After the death of father LubeyLubey, his coalition has been all over the place. Lion dynamics are ever changing, like seasons in the year.
