2 time NBA all star and a 2nd team defensive player of the Year, Luol Deng visited South Sudan to show support and encouragement to kids during a visit to Juba this past week. He built a basketball court in South Sudan 4 years ago and he named it after Manute Bol, the late NBA player who was also a South Sudanese. Luol Deng built the court through his foundation, the Luol Deng Foundation, which offers children an opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball through the Deng Camp, but also, offers children scholarships for education, and offers Non-Profit organizations grants for humanitarian purposes. He visited South Sudan on the 4th anniversary of the opening the court to show continued support and encouragement for the youth. These are clips of his speeches only.
