Evan’s seizures started when he was just four years old.
He was seriously injured by his seizures and hospitalised countless times. After 15 years of misdiagnosis, Evan’s epilepsy was finally diagnosed, but his seizures still weren’t controlled. Evan found life incredibly difficult, and his dream of competing in the Paralympics was slipping away.
Evan was then referred to our world leading research team who identified the medication needed to reduce his seizures. Evan has now been seizure free for 18 months.
Now with his seizures under control, he can focus on his goal of representing Team GB at the 2024 Paralympics.
