Outgoing European Commission President José Manuel Barroso has taken one final swipe at British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Barroso hit out at Cameron over his reaction to a two billion euro EU bill; the row dominated headlines after an EU summit last week.

"The British prime minister finished the summit with a diatribe against the EU institutions. This is not acceptable," the former Portuguese prime minister told euronews in an interview on Tuesday.
