Shooting my LeMat revolver (purchased from Dixie Gun Works) up at the Mammoth Lakes public shooting area in June 2011. In order of appearance, the shooters are: brother Ben, me, brother Josh, uncle Jonathan, and then me again shooting the shotgun barrel.
The .44 chambers were loaded with 28 grains of Goex FFFG black powder, and the 20 gauge shotgun barrel used 45 grains with light target shot.
New characteristics of the gun that have become apparent since last shooting it: the loading lever comes loose very easily during shooting, and it's best not to load the shotgun barrel until after you've fired off the 9 .44 chambers, unless you get a really good unmoving wad. After about the 5th shot, the wad shook loose and all the shot spilled out. The over-powder wad stayed in, though. I should note that the wads were shoddy "on-the-spot" creations crudely cut from a cardboard shotshell box.
