Myth: Pig Brig can’t hold big pigs. DEBUNKED!!
"Does this thing work for big boars?"
We get this question a lot. And the answer is yes!
Here's a case study by Ray S., a Pig Brig owner, from Port Charlotte, FL. One of three videos.
After he setup his Pig Brig, Ray started watching pigs come into the trap during the night (you don't have to monitor or remote trigger a Pig Brig, he just wanted to watch the trap in action).
The next morning...see the video.
A solid catch rounding up a few of FL worst, including a boar weighing in at 334 lbs.
String 'em up, Ray!
Let's get that one to the grinder.
Way to represent for the Florida Pig Brigade!
Well done.
Moral of the story: Pig Brig can handle all your pig problems. Even big boars.

Pig Brig Trap System is designed to catch feral pigs.
Our mission is to eliminate the global feral pig population.
The Pig Brig Trap System comes in two configurations:
The Pig Brig Trap System and Pig Brig XT Trap System.
Based on field feedback, we've upgraded the original Pig Brig to include:
* Wider sewn-in Boar Shield with hog ringed bottom for piglet protection
* New abrasion-resistant Boar Shield material with better UV protection
* New stronger top rope for reduced stretch
The only difference between the Pig Brig and the Pig Brig XT is that the XT includes a sewn-in or clip-on Trap Cap.
Start with the Pig Brig Trap System at a convenient price point.
Step up to the Pig Brig XT Trap System for extra confidence in your catch and/or pigs that jump.

The original Pig Brig Trap System was developed by the White Buffalo team during feral hog eradication in a fenced area on Guam. The biologists couldn’t dig, place any metal objects into the ground, or do anything that disrupted the soil due to the unexploded WWII ordinance. They began hanging nets from trees with remotely triggered gates. Since then, we’ve upgraded and modified the net to make it better, stronger, more durable. We’ve tried different mesh sizes so hog’s snouts don’t get caught, we’ve upgraded the assembly and attachments to simplify the design, modularizing the system so it’s lightweight and fast to setup.
White Buffalo Inc. is a wilderness conservation non-profit organization, started in 1995, and led by Dr. Tony DeNicola and Vickie DeNicola. White Buffalo has accomplished significant field research and management projects, including work in the Galapagos, the Channel Islands, and Point Reyes National Seashore.
