In this meeting of colleagues interested in supporting the work of the International Delphic Games, we discuss the meaning of art and culture and how we can best support the coming into being of a revived buzz worldwide around the Delphic Games. On a par with eh Olympic Games, they featured the leading poets, actors, painters, musicians and dancers of the classical world for over a thousand years. They were restarted in 1994 and are currently undergoing further expansion. In this time of Coronations we are holding regular meetings on line and in this meeting dedicated to the arts and culture, we share ideas and also readings from various poets and thinkers to give us hope and vision to go on in a time of darkness. We also share some songs and musical works as well. Among the various readings are several from the philosopher Plutarch who for many years was the organizer of the Delphic Games, as well as a priest at Delphi, and who well understood the importance of the games at Delphi. the meeting is coordinated by Dr Thomas Daffern, who is currently serving as Educational Coordinator of the International Delphic Games.
