In the musical, The Music Man(presented at The Academy for Academics and Arts), this song takes place on the Fourth of July, and Mayor Shinn is leading the morning festivities in the high school gym, with the help of his wife, Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn leading the town in, "Columbia, Gem of the Ocean". I got Lizzy to 'sing' it for me again, with the help of another small cast member :)
