DHAKA SESSIONS is excited to feature one of most powerful Folk-Rock bands in Bangladesh - Lalon.
Lalon is a folk-rock fusion band from Khulna, Bangladesh formed by its lead vocals Nigar Sultana Sumi in 2001. The name of the band is inspired by the songs and philosophy of Fakir Lalon Shah. Band Lalon has earned great popularity and respect from their fans by speaking the language of this generation. Having performed in various cities around the world including London, New York, and Kolkata, they are committed to spreading the rich folk musical traditions of Bengal throughout the world by performing on the world stage.
Lalon has released four albums so far - বি-প্রোটিপ (2007), ক্ষ্যাপা (2009), পাগল (2012), সাদা কালো (2018).
