Testing the prototype

I still have a lot to wrap up as fas as an eclosure and cable management goes. As well as dressing it up and covering some components.

I'm running it in this video with 6000 mm/min Rapids, Nema 23 open loop steppers. The final version will have Nema 24 closed loop steppers.

I have not decided which controller to go with yet. I am prototyping it with FluidNC at the moment. All the electronics will be enclosed on the back side of the gantry tower. Very short electrical runs.

This machine is super rigid with the gantry tower and dual Z it eliminates the potential deflection by having Z on the spindle carriage.

the bed is 18 x 24
The overall outside dimensions are 43 x 42 x 37 high.
