The Summer Olympic Games is a global sporting event that occurs every 4 years. It has been hosted on every continent except Africa (and Antarctica if you count that as a continent to host a sporting event). Even though the first event will be the Youth Olympics in Dakar, Senegal, how would Africa fair with the global event if it happened in the motherland? What would it take and would it even be beneficial in the long run ?

So what if one of Africa's great cities hosted the Summer Olympic Games?
