Billopp Manor, often called the Conference House, sits at the Southernmost tip of New York City. It's as low as you can go! Staten Island makes a beautiful setting for this grand historic house. It's appropriate because this old stone home set the stage for a treaty between the British and Revolutionaries during the war of 1776.
It was a fancypants affair with attendees such as John Adams and Benjamin Franklin. Still, it didn't succeed in ending the war. But you knew that already. Visit the house for a special tour with a lovely couple who truly care about the house and its history. They share riveting and unforgettable stories. If you love American History, this is one historic site you've simply got to see!
