While the term “mini stroke” may not sound serious, such an episode can be a clear warning sign that a stroke may happen in the future. And across the nation, we are seeing younger people affected by stroke at alarming rates. The majority of mini-strokes produce temporary symptoms. For this reason, this life-changing event is often ignored. Timing is critical to avoid long lasting and permanent disability.
