Films taken in early March of 1968 for a week-long series on maple sugaring showed maple sugar producers preparing for the upcoming sap flow. Sap collecting, pipe lines, buckets, tubing, storage tanks and all that go into the running of an efficient sugar bush operation were the focus of the programs. Films shot on location showed how sap is transformed into Vermont's nationally known product, maple syrup. Maple candy and syrup were also on display at Dakin Farm.
