Another brexit deadline has come and gone, but the immovable one of December 31st is still approaching. Boris Johnson will find it increasingly difficult to sell a deal as a victory as time goes on without one, and yet no deal at all would mean the greatest level of panic amongst the population in January, and likely and even greater public backlash to his hard brexit.
