So this is how I make arrows for my combat archery group. These with wooden shafts are more for our youth events and non-combat as the shafts will easily break if stepped on or if a warrior falls on a quiver-full.
Always check with your archery marshall or group leader before using these arrows for LARP or combat archery. Our game uses fully covered helmets with 1/2" minimum face screens, fully padded armor over the vitals, so these arrows may be unsuitable for some LARP and combat archery groups.
Like I said, these are great arrows for kids to get started with as the points are very blunt and won't really damage anything out of a weaker bow.
