Isometric platform shooting game in which you have diagonal controls-- one 4-way diagonal stick to control your spaceman and one 4-way diagonal joystick to move your arm to fire NW/SW/NE/SE, and a trigger button to fire with. The enemies are lizard-type creatures that also shoot, and can shoot from anywhere on the playfield, so they can hit you from far away! If you don't have diagonal controls emulated correctly you can be in a world of hurt! Between diagonal movement and diagonal arm control it can be a real pain in the butt! Once you shoot a lizard it becomes a ghost-- which you want to collect to end their threat completely-- and makes its way to a giant lizard head at the top of the screen. This lizard head is intimidating but can't hurt you. It WILL, however, respawn the lizards the enter it into tougher lizards that are quicker, fire more often, etc. As a ghost approaches the lizard head a platform will be laid out so the ghost can enter. If you are close and can enter the head yourself, you will get WARPED to an Inferno level. Here, you have a VERY open playfield in which several demons come after you and shoot, and you must destroy them all without touching the flame walls. You get a substantial bonus for both entering and exiting this level. Teleporters are also on the levels, marked by a colored dot, and when touched send you to the other same-colored dot and they are no longer in use. Note that there are stairs on the playfield; most enemies you can't kill from a different floor, other than the tanks (one shot from below reduces them to treads, then you must shoot them from the same floor to eliminate them completely). A Bomb Bird flies above and drops bombs on you; he can't be killed, and don't dawdle underneath him! INFERNO is all right, I suppose; IF you can successfully replicate the controls (I couldn't). One final note-- an angel statue, if touched, can divert the attention of the enemies for a short spell. Requested by YouTube user Scion giorl.
